High Holidays

HCS is thrilled to announce  that Rabbi Shoshana Leis and Cantor Ruth Ossher will be co leading services with Rachel Izes leading children's services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Rachel brings song, creativity and love of tradition to our youth services.  Children's services are followed by supervised children's activities until the end of morning services.

Members of the ritual committee will be in touch with members  to see if and how you would like to participate in this year's High Holiday services, whether it is reading a Torah portion or Haftarah; reading blessings in Hebrew or a prayer in English; or something nonverbal (such as opening the ark, carrying the Torah, or dressing the Torah).

HCS offers dues free membership (which includes High Holiday tickets) for the first year to local unaffiliated families who have not attended High Holiday services at HCS before.

If you would like to attend High Holiday Services, please complete and submit the request below  or call (914) 248-9532 for information and reservations. Pre-registration is REQUIRED this year due to security protocols. We regret that we cannot allow non-members to walk in to services without pre-registering.

enter above the details about the ticket(s) you are requesting and we will contact you about your request.
