Hebrew School registration for 2017/18 is now under way. HCS offers a variety of Hebrew School options for your child.  Gan 1 and 2: This class is for the first and second graders. It meets on Sunday during the academic year for 3 hours (9 AM to 12 Noon). It covers the basic knowledge of Jewish holidays through arts and crafts, song and play. 

 Alef: This class is for the third graders. It meets on Sunday during the academic year for 3 hours (9 AM to 12 Noon). The curriculum covers the Jewish holidays, culture and the study of beginning Hebrew. 

 Bet: This class is for the fourth graders. It meets on Sunday during the academic year for 3 hours (9 AM to 12 Noon). The curriculum continues to cover the Jewish holidays, culture and the study of Hebrew.

 Gimel: This class is for the fifth graders. It meets on Sunday during the academic year for 3 hours (9 AM to 12 Noon) and on Wednesday (4:15 to 6:15 PM). The curriculum continues to cover the Jewish holidays, culture and the study of Hebrew.

 Dalet: This class is for the sixth graders. It meets on Sunday during the academic year for 3 hours (9 AM to 12 Noon) and on Wednesday (4:15 to 6:15 PM). Its curriculum continues to cover the Jewish holidays, culture and the study of Hebrew. 

 Hey: This class is for the seventh graders. It meets on Sunday during the academic year for 3 hours (9 AM to 12 Noon) and on Wednesday (4:15 to 6:15 PM). The curriculum continues to cover the Jewish holidays, culture, the study of Hebrew and preparation for the B’nai Mitzvahs.

 Youth Group: This class is for the 8th through 12th grade. It meets on Sundays during the academic year from 10-12 or 11:30-1. This is our post B’nai Mitzvah group. This group does Jewish themed activities and also group activities such as theatrics, baking and pizza parties.  This years class will meet in several partnering synagogue locations through a program offered by Westchester Jewish Teen Learning Initiative.
