Northern Westchester's Reconstructionist Synagogue and Temple, located in Somers. We welcome interfaith families from Westchester and Putnam and provide progressive Hebrew and religious school education for children and adults. Our members have varied backgrounds from the Reconstructionist, Reform,  Conservative, Orthodox, Cultural and non-affiliated branches of Judaism.

LUNCH AND LEARN,

RELAX AND REFLECT

SATURDAY MORNING AT THE

HEBREW CONGREGATION OF SOMERS

Following Shachrit services, which begin at 9:30 am, join Rabbi Fred and the HCS community for a light lunch and discussion of the week’s Torah portion (at about 11:30 am).

What a nice way to celebrate Shabbat.

Sponsor a Lunch and Learn on Saturday morning...........all you need is a dozen bagels, danish and coffee to enjoy while Rabbi Fred discusses this week's Parsha.

 These are the dates for the Lunch and Learns over the summer.

                     July 9^th
                     July 23rd Sherman-Fischer family
                     Aug. 13^th Vicki and Les Prusnofsky
                     Aug. 27^th 

Bring coffee and the caretaker will set it up for you.
There are usually 17-20 people and the discussions are very interesting
Service 9:30-11 and a light breakfast and discussion from 11-12. Contact Mary Wolchan if interested.

 The Lunch and Learns are the last Saturday service of the month and this service begins at 9:15 AM with the lunch and discussion of the week’s Torah portion beginning at approximately 11:30 AM.

Sponsors provide a light dairy lunch of bagels or bread, spreads, juice and dessert for 15-25 people.
