Minutes from the November/December Board Meeting

Our membership is currently 89 families.  We welcome the 6 new families who joined us this year.

The Dec. 3 Wine and Cheese event was well attended, and lots of fun.  We received generous donations, which covered all expenses and provided something extra for building repairs or other needs.

Roof repair is needed to repair leaks into the upstairs classroom.  We had little storm damage from the Oct. 29 snowstorm, but some tree limbs and branches came down and were removed.

Several synagogues from Northern Westchester have formed an organization called the Kesher Group.  The group will provide information on programs sponsored by each synagogue, so that all may attend.

A new class is being formed for teens who would like to learn how to become Hebrew School teachers or assistants.  You may contact Tal Hadani, if interested.

The Chanukah pot-luck dinner was a big success.  Food was outstanding, and the latkes were the best!  Our top two winners of the latke contest were:  Martin Ashley and Ritta Stern.

Best Wishes from the Board for 2012.
